Working With Modes

In Eventl we have 4 modes which mimic the way your events work in the real world

  • Planning - for events in the future. You can access this event ahead of time to setup how you want your log to work, including:
    • create (or import) your catagories;
    • create (or import) your MIlestones and their associated timed tasks;
    • create (or import) any timed tasks.

By using our simple import and export tools, you can create templates of your regular events with all their categories and timed tasks in place ready for your operators to dive straight in

  • Live - this event is happening now and is ready to accept new log entries
  • Post - this event has ended but you can still access the log in a read-only manner to print out / share the post-event reporting and also to do any further statistical work on the raw data set;
  • Archived - this is a past event that isn’t being worked on anymore (and is hidden by default in the event list).
